Tom was the editor of the Steel Guitar Magazine and is a good friend likely the most important name in the Steel Guitar industry. I was the primary sculptor for the Steel Guitar Hall of Fame from 1981 to 2007 and sculpted or redid most of the plaques in the gallery, even when Kathleen and I were on missions out of the country in Beijing China and Chile. It was an interesting challenge in coordination and creation. It was also a pleasure and a rewarding experience working with Tom Bradshaw and John Helfrich at East Bay Brass foundry in California where the plaques were cast.. I appreciate their friendship, humor, and patience through the years. My work for them led to many other commissions through the years.
