This elegant little jewel with a custom patina applied in a special way while the bronze is heated, and no two patinas are alike. It is an inspired work and represents sorrow or contemplation and the pose is appealing from any angle. It is a tribute to Maillol and Rodin who were the teachers of my teacher. It celebrates the classic perfection of the female figure. A custom patina gives the bronze a stone like quality.
