Abraham, while teaching his precious son, hears the voice of the Lord say, "Take thy son, thy only son, and sacrifice him. Can you imagine the pain? In creating this sculpture I sculpted the boy embracing his father lovingly, not able to understand his fathers stiffening as Abraham looks upward in pain, not able to respond.
