Ballet adagio, leg lift Sculpture

Medium: Bronze

The leg lift is one of the most difficult adagio maneuvers. The female runs and steps onto an upturned hand on the male partner's thigh. He places his other hand on her thigh and her momentum and a little lift from him into the air over his head. The rest is balance and strength. This move took my partner and me over six months to perfect and was a final movement and oft times used to exit the stage. lifts
The original piece was sculpted in wax, in Rodin-like impressionism, then cast by the lost wax process in solid bronze. A contemporary version of the sculpture is also available with a smooth finish with a gorgeous custom patina. Both are remarkable.

Allow a six weeks delivery time. It is worth the wait. STS
